Germantown Soccer Club is a region of SC Wave. GSC is managed by a our local Board of Directors comprised of parents from the club, which has its non-profit status. SC Wave is our connection to the soccer community and helps support the registration and payment of our coaches. On the field, our players proudly wear the SC Wave logo. This uniform is the same across all regions, symbolizing our unity and making us feel like one big family on the field and across regions. SC Wave provides us with broader access to soccer and a higher competition level for our players.

Most Frequent Questions
How do I register for U6-10 Recreational and Academy programming?
SC Wave and all WYSA affiliated clubs use PlayMetrics for program registration. Please follow the link on this page or go to ( SC Wave Registration ). You will need to create a PlayMetrics account if this is your first time registering. Please note that SC Wave has many different locations, so please select the program “SC Wave Germantown Recreational” when completing registration.
How do I register for U11-19 Select programming?
In order to participate in Select programming, players must first participate in tryouts on June 3rd and 5th at Freidenfeld Park ( Germantown Tryouts 2025 ). Once tryouts are complete and teams are selected, you will receive an offer to join the team via email with a link to complete registration. Tryout offers for U11-15 players will be extended on or after June 13, 2025 at 12:00pm. Tryout offers for U16-19 players will be extended on or after June 20, 2025 at 12:00pm.
What is not included in my registration fees?
Uniform cost, tournament fees, and winter indoor session fees are not included in registration fees. Tournament fees and winter indoor fees are determined by individual teams and participation in those events are optional.
When is the deadline to register for Recreational/Academy programming?
For 2025, Recreational/Academy registration will open around April 15th and will close on July 1st. We strongly encourage all players to register by this deadline to prevent any delays in uniform ordering. We may still be able to accept registrations after this deadline if there is roster availability, but this will be taken on a case by case basis. Please email info@germantownsoccer.org if you have missed the deadline and are interested in registering for the 25/26 season.
How do I order my Capelli uniform?
After Recreational/Academy and Select program registration is closed, you will receive an email from CapelliSport informing you that your uniform kit is ready to be purchased and linking you to their website. We recommend that you complete this as soon as possible after receiving the email to avoid any delays in receiving your uniform. You are required to purchase the “mandatory kit” and will also have to option to purchase additional items or fanwear from the Capelli website.
Does my registration include registration for Fall and Spring soccer seasons?
Yes, your registration fees cover a full year of soccer. Fall season practices typically begin in August, with league games beginning late August and finishing up in early November. Spring season practices typically begin in early April with league games beginning mid-April and finishing up in mid-June.
​When will I find out who my coach is and what the practice and game schedule will be?
After registration closes on July 1st, teams will be formed and registered for league play. Once this is complete, you will be invited to join your team on PlayMetrics and will be able to view your team’s schedule, as well as communicate with our coach. This is typically completed by July 20th.
If my child didn’t register for the fall season, can they still register for the spring session?
We do offer spring-only registration, which typically opens around December 15th with a registration deadline of February 1st. Please note that not all age groups/genders may be available for spring-only registration, so your best bet to ensure your child is able to participate in soccer is to register for the full year program by July 1st.
